Susan Spear is a licensed Broker Associate dedicated to helping dentists transition their practices smoothly and effectively. Her knowledge of dentistry and the transition process provides our clients with the expertise necessary for attaining their goals.
Susan Spear is also founder and owner of SAS Transitions located in Littleton, Colorado. SAS Transitions is a nationally focused company dedicated to providing customized transition consulting services for all dental professionals. Susan has over 30 years of experience in several aspects of dentistry, including: transitioning both private and commercial dental practices throughout the United States, providing clinical and business management support for general and specialty practices, and serving as a healthcare administrator and educator.
Susan assists dentists and their teams, dental associates, dental management consultants, and small business owners with clarifying, planning, and implementing optimum transition outcomes. Whether selling or buying a dental practice, adding an associate/partner, changing your business mission, expanding your network and services, or just experiencing difficulty in moving forward, Susan helps you find the answers to removing the “chaos” associated with change and guides you towards creating new beginnings. Susan is a respected consultant, published writer, requested speaker, project developer, and operational facilitator. She is a member of several professional organizations including the Academy of Dental Management Consultants (ADMC), currently serving as Member At Large and the American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA), having served as their 11th District Trustee and Colorado State President. She is listed in the American Dental Association’s 2004 ADA Directory of Dental Practice Management Consultants, and the Directory of Dental Practice Appraisers and Brokers. Since 1991, Susan has held an associate faculty position at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry where she teaches the Expanded Functions for Dental Auxiliaries series.
